Flanagan has power. He's not quite as explosive as Verdejo, but he's just as capable.

Flanagan is listed as half-inch taller, but I think Verdejo is about 2" shorter. We'll never know for sure until they square up - because of all the disinformation surrounding boxer's attributes - height, reach, etc.

Flanagan just looks rangier in general - wider back, longer arms, etc.

All I know is no one at 135 yelling for Robert Easter Jr., not that I think he has the most skill in the world BUT his height and reach is trouble for anyone that doesnt have a GREAT inside game. I like Commey and thought he 'may" have pulled off the win against Easter Jr. but it was REALLY close and Commey took a beating trying his ass off.

Did Mikey sign with Ringstar? I thought he was a promotional free agent who had Haymon as an advisor. If so then Ringstar won't be involved, Golden Boy would be the only promoter. Just like the Khan fight with Canelo none of the previous promoters Haymon used were involved. And just like Chavez Jr it will be Golden Boy handling the promotion. Unless Mikey signed a contract with Schaefer he will not have anything to do with the fight.

No, but you can tell, Schaefer wants him as his lead boxer. But you're right, with Mikey having his own promotion, it's definitely an easier fight to make.
