Linares is the best at 135 right now. Garcia trying to make up for lost time and wants the best fights before he moves up. Garcia only issue is rust and how long can he make this weight. This will be a great fight and Linares has great speed and skills but his chin won't hold up to Garcia's power. Inactivity and promoter drama is the only reason garcia isn't on everybody's top 10 p4p lists.

      First, Mikey-Zlaticanin & Flanagan-Verdejo (#1 Contender).

      Next, Mikey-Linares vs Verdejo.

And then Mikey-Verdejo for unification would be a sight to see. Wishful thinking on my part of course.

So you're just assuming Verdejo gets by Flanagan?

I don't see him winning that fight. Flanagan is the real deal - tall, powerful, quick, good chin, and confident.

Verdejo will get picked apart with that jab

It's just some match-ups I would like to see. But you're prolly right, I don't think Felix will get past Terry.

It was just the way you set it up - like you had Verdejo v. Flanagan.

Then u just skipped right to Verdejo vs. the winner of Garcia/Linares.

Lol like it was just gonna be a given that he beat Flanagan.

It's definitely a great fight, and pretty evenly matched. Great stylistic matchup.

This guy have one punch K.O kinda of power.

35 wins with 29 by K.O said all.
Yea, he's really a unique blend. Part slickster, with a Mexican base, and wicked power. Super-orthodox in some senses, but works a lot off instinct as well. And that footwork! Was a little loose in that last fight but it's no wonder, after the layoff.

                First, Mikey-Zlaticanin & Flanagan-Verdejo (#1 Contender) & Linares-Petrov (#1 Contender)

I hope they give Petrov the chance to fight for the title this year. He won the eliminator last September.

Lol Verdejo is the same height, quicker, and Flannagan has no power.

Damn good fight. Both excellent boxers; Linares more skilled in my opinion but that skin and that chin doe. Would be a very interesting fight.

Linares has a pretty offense but he gets into firefights too easily and Garcia is likely to put a hurting on Linares.

Good fight while it lasts but I like Garcia's defense better and just think he can better deal with Linares' firepower than the other way around.
