yea the rumored 10 million he was willing to put up for that bout was enormous..they turnd down showtime ppv and canadian ppv...and unifying all 6 titles in the division...kovalev deserves very little respect after **** like that..

i think it was around 5 million which was still too much for main events....

edwin was ko loss waiting to happen even after fightin andre ward...why didn the ko happen that night? exactly williams jr dug more than ward and got better results.

Go watch that fight again. Williams fought like garbage, but Rodriguez fought like worse garbage is the thing.

And c'mon man this is basic ****. Ward isn't a guy who's gonna KO a lot of guys. Its not the way he fights. Ward not KOing a guy someone else KO's doesn't necessarily make it a lesser result for anyone other than the fan. And if we're now talking about fan enjoyment of fights then we can go right back to why Stevenson hasn't fought anyone anybody should give a f#ck about in a couple years.

And let me get this straight cuz you keep bringing up random **** thats neither here nor there in the things I'm saying. I like Stevenson. I think he's a talented guy. He can be fun to watch in competitive fights. And saying that last sentence suggests he's a top guy cuz if many guys fought his competition those names he's fought look decent to good on their resume. But the problem is when you are a top 1 to 3 guy in the division their is a great ability requires more responsibility angle to opponent selection. Stevenson has failed in that regard & I don't believe there is any wiggle room on that failure like you seem to feel for this reason or that reason.

Why did Stevenson decide to suddenly sign with Alicia Haymon and Showtime when the fight with Kovalev was about to be made as a result of the card that they both fought on? The whole purpose of that card was to set them up for a showdown on HBO. Stevenson is the one that changed that. Feel free to respond without the insults. If u want to see school me, do so with boxing knowledge not personal comments.

haymon is not the problem u diva hbo is..haymon was willing to put up 100k out of his own pocket to keep him on hbo..michel was putting up 100k and hbo refused to up 100k..stevenson was not askin for money for kov he was asking for more money for the fonfara bout..and the 3 fight deal would hav been signed..hbo let it get away for 100k...no matter wat a card was suppose to do..HE DIDNT HAVE A TV DEAL IN PLACE WITH HBO..and showtime made a better offer to fight bhop..but they didnt have bhop secured, but bhop didnt get a better deal from hbo bc it is impossilbe if bhop/stevenson was going to be showtime ppv

Idk why you are so stuck on Kovalev lol. I'm talking about Stevenson. Kovalev has fought good competition in the same time table that Stevenson has been fighting garbage opponents. I don't give a f#ck about any specific fight in regards to this discussion. The fact that Kovalev has went on with his business. Hell even Ward has entered the division & went on with business.

Meanwhile Stevenson is just collecting paydays fighting also rans. There are better opponents out there for him. **** his own promoter is also Beterbiev's promoter & GYM won't make that fight cuz of how effed up the business of boxing is nowadays. GYM just knows Stevenson sells enough in Canada to fight garbage opponents & is hopeful Beterbiev can sell there like Stevenson at some point &/or compete with the top guys in the division.

Whatever doe you think what you think & I think what I think so I don't think either one of us is gonna sway the other at this point based on the lack of bend in our back n forth.
