imagine if golovkin hit you with the same shots you took from mora? goes both ways . you don't wnt top open that can of worms if you're jacobs. golovkin gets hit. it's a flaw, but he's shown a hell of a chin.

jacobs gets hit, too. he's been knocked out by a lesser puncher, and rocked by sergio mora, who probalbly doesn't hit much harder than kell brook.

Don't get me wrong because I'm pulling for Jacobs to win. I think he can catch GGG and probably stop him. My thing is we've seen GGG hit but never hurt or staggered but we have seen Danny hurt, dropped and staggered before. It's boxing one punch can change a fight either. Do I think if Danny catches GGG clean can he stop him, my answer is yes.

Did the tumor affect his ability to absorb punches?

I dont even care so much about jacobs chin, but pirog comprehensively outboxed jacobs and had no problem pressuring him against the ropes. So if he hasnt fixed these flaws, I dont see how he can overcome Golovkin.

And the Truax, Fletcher and Moras wont prepare you to fight Golovkin at all. Decent win against Quillin, but the fight doesnt tell us anything.

He won one round. That's it. Everthing GGG connected with was hurting Brook. He got his face broke with a jab. People talk about that uppercut and it didn't even faze GGG. I was willing to let you slide on everything you said except for you mistaking me for a Golovkin fan. I've been critical of Tripple G since day one. Saying anything could happen in boxing is redundant. I am aware of that. The fact remains that Jacobs isn't the first puncher Golovkin faced and it didn't seem to bother him. I'm only suggesting he better be prepared for more than punchers chance just in case Golovkin is able to withstand his power.

I think what is clear is that Lil g cannot be as defensively irresponsible with Jacobs as he was with Brook.

He has to fight like he did against Murray and Lemieux, and not like he did against Monroe and Brook.

If Danny throws and lands in combination on Lil g like Brook did, we will see what happened to Quillen happen to Gennady.

I dont think Jacobs punches nearly as hard as his record says he does. If he did, there would be gym buzz about him being a monster puncher that hits like a heavyweight. But there isn't.

Where are all his highlight reel KO's? There aren't many.

He gets stoppages like the Quillin stoppage. Wobble a guy, flurry, fight stopped.

I respectfully disagree. I think Jacobs postponed it in order to obtain agreeable terms and hopefully he gets a good payday from this.
