Saying anything could happen in boxing is redundant. I am aware of that. The fact remains that Jacobs isn't the first puncher Golovkin faced and it didn't seem to bother him. I'm only suggesting he better be prepared for more than punchers chance just in case Golovkin is able to withstand his power.
I agree 100% with what you are saying and I think that's the point everyone is missing.

GGG got stopped as 23 y/o prospect...with a tumor growing on his spine.

Who was GGG fighting at that age?
NOBODY on Pirog's level....that's for sure.

It's funny....Manny has been laid out cold several times and rocked..but nobody calls him chinny.

      It's just funny.
Once again I'm not a GGG fan but he has been in there with some puncher, maybe not great or good boxers but good punchers. He's been touch and responded good. The thing is he hasn't been hit with multiple hard shots, just one here and there. I want to see how he responds or holds up when getting hit multiple power shots. He might crumble like a cookie for all we know.

As far as Jacobs and the Piorg fight, cancer aside I don't think he should have taken that fight. Not because I don't think he couldn't win the fight. His grandmother the lady that raised died a week or so before the fight and he mentally wasn't 100% there. He just didn't look right going into that fight but that's neither here or there.

As for Manny I didn't really pay attention when he as KO'd at 18 or 19 years old at 108 and 112 pounds. For the Marquez KO, I don't care what anyone says he was on something IMO

          • Jacobs was in with the more dangerous fighters and he's passed and failed. He will be ready to test GG's chin. If Jacobs lands fights over. If GG takes it and wins props to him because Danny can punch.

Jacobs failed when he was a 23 y/o prospect with a tumor growing on his spine.

People call Jacobs chinny....but the same people don't say that about Pacman....who was laid out cold more than once.
