The dummy graphic eh? You exposed your true bias by making that statement. Who makes up the supposed less intelligent demographic? It seems obvious that your statement is inflammatory towards a certain group of people. Since it is critical of people who are supportive of Andre Ward it also seems that black people would be that group are referring to and inferring to be the dummygraphic. Do believe that making racially prejudiced statements is a sign of your superior intelligence? Where and when did you come up with the idea of racial superiority based on degradation?

Ward is white, being part white makes Ward fully white I'm changing the trend so no longer can you keep hold of our oppressed white fighters.

what are you watching? ward was holding and hitting kovalev so kovalev held him back in order to prevent that. you really couldn't see that? grabbing a guy ann hitting him in the nuts or with one free arm is not inside fighting or clean punching. what did you expect kovalev to do when ward grabbed him? stand upright and continue to be hit with illegal blows? he clinched him back to stop his cheating ass. he shouldn't have to do that but thats what happens when you have an inept ref.

any punch that was landed during a clinch or was setup because of a clinch is not a legal or clean punch. just like if you lowblow'd a guy and he doubles over in pain and then you hit him with a clean shot to the head it doesn't count because it was setup through illegal methods. ward setup and landed his "body work" illegally. not that it should matter since he lost even if you consider it as clean puncihing but if you score it correctly he loses by an even wider margin. if there were no clinching on ward's part he loses almost every round. the reason ward was clinching is because he couldn't box with kovalev so he had to cheat. he was not inside figthing. inside fighting is corrales castillo not grabbing the other guy and hitting him.

Good post, I agree, that wasn't inside fighting, it was nothing but holds/over-clinching, slaps and love taps. And some in the boxing media are to blame for exaggerating and gushing like schoolgirls about that supposed "inside work."

Ward proved that he's the better fighter. He was in there with the bigger and stronger fighter,went down,got up and made the adjustments. Walked kovalev down as well.kovalev is who he is and nothing special

Jackson sounds like a damn fool.. he's basically saying the only way for Kovalev to do better is for Ward to stand in one place and exchange, basically admitting how one dimensional his fighter is. .and when was Ward "running"? majority of that fight was spent at close range, and if Andre decides to utilize the ring who cares, that's why it's a ring not a damn phone booth. if Kovalev doesn't know how to cut a ring , that's his damn problem. .of course if they exchange Ward gets knocked out..duh..we know who has the power advantage, so Ward had to take away the power by working inside where Kovalev couldn't do a damn thing. .

and too many people are crying about clinching..it is part of boxing, it is NOT illegal. .if clinching was truly illegal then Muhammad Ali would've been disqualified vs Foreman.

people pick and choose when to be outraged with referees..Tony Weeks allowed everything during Mayweather vs Maidana and not a peep was heard..Bayless cracks down on it for the rematch, and gets accused of bias towards Floyd for not allowing an ugly fight.

Ward vs Kovalev are evenly matched and rematch will be close as well but Jackson isn't giving his fighter too much credit if he can only improve if Ward doesn't move around.

Blame it on the ref. Excuses excuses. A so called better ref is going to stop Kovalev from holding and using headlocks too. Where were these complaints when Ricky Hatton built his entire career on holding and hitting? What about Vladimir Klitschko, Carlos Molina and Marcos Maidan. Why is this so much of issue for Ward and no one else?

Where did I say it was only an issue with Ward? If you're a Ward fan, you're the fan of a headbutting cheater. And no, he isn't the only one. But we're talking about Ward right now, so enough with the deflecting.
