I see it like this... Ricky cause of his skin color will always be hated on...sad..but..true

He will be a called a fraud and overhyped until some one like Mayweather beats him then ppl will say see..I told ya so

According to the boy who started this thread..basicaly Ricky is a bum cause he beat a strap holder on his debut fight at new weight, but because he didnt totally destroy him, Ricks a bum

Must suck winning bbut not convincing his haters...oh well I see a Gatti fight happening next or Possibly Mayweather fights him next if the DLH fight doesnt go down

take off the bias goggles. Almost half the people here at BS.com (alone) thinks that Collazo took the fight. It was a close fight, and the fact is, Hatton looks like the real loser. People are questioning his past accomplishments, wondering if he's overrated, making excuses that he doesn't belong at 147lbs. And that's the way it is because he really looked DEFEATED in this fight.

well said. this is exactly what has been happening and is happening. he challenged and beat a title holder and he got a gift because he is white.

you simply wrong. it was a close fight and collazo would have won if he didnt get frustrated and smothered in the middle rounds giving the fight to hatton. yes collazo should have won the fight but he was inconsistant from round to round while hatton applied constant pressure from the opening to the closing bell.

i didn't know holding was constant pressure. the fight could of gone either way but i would of liked to see a point deduction for all the holding, especially in the last round where hatton was going to get koed or at least dropped.

please. clinching is a part of the ****ing game. when you are in trouble you hold on. plain and simple. and collazo was holding a lot too in the middle rounds.

Ricky Hatton was given far too much hype following the Kostya fight and that was largely down to the British media over here.

Hatton looked uncomfortable last night, he looked out out of his depth but he is still a quality fighter. He'll never be the best at welterweight so he'll dropped down and be more comfortable.

He'll get his fight with PBF at Junior Welter, then you'll see how good he is.
