Let's see, Thurman is fighting Garcia. Khan is fighting Brook. We know it can't be Bradley! So the only fighters I can think of, NOT named Terence Crawford, that would be worthy of a Pacquiao payday are: Shawn Porter and Errol Spence Jr.! That is unless Bob Arum convinces everyone that Jeff Horn is a star in the making. I wouldn't be surprised if it's Jeff Horn!

Spence has no title, no names on his resume, and nothing to add to the already cemented legacy of Pac. So unfortunately he'd never be in the running. Would be a great fight though. Porter would be too but again same thing but better resume. I agree though If Jeff horn gets a world title in the near future Bob's gonna skip him to the front of the line unfortunately

I could see Pacquiao getting beat by keith Thurman brutally. But crawford? Nah? His suspect chin would be his downfall and Crawford doesn't pressure Pacquiao, and instead goes on the back foot, and that would be his downfall.

But at that time pac was young and hungry while Oscar was on the decline but it was masked because he was busy fighting guys like Steve Forbes who couldn't take advantage. Uncle Bob makes the ultimate decision on who Pacman fights next. Not Roach, not Koncz, not even Pacquiao, who could not even face Tim without a very embarrassed look on his face in their first Bradley 3 presscon.

Truth is Bob could have made Crawford vs Pacquiao, instead of Bradley 3, which was touted as Pac's retirement fight and thus a potential passing of the torch ceremony. Bob thought Bradley, with Ted Atlas by his side, was still the guy who could beat Pac, not Crawford.
