I'm a big Oscar and Manny fan and beating someone that much bigger was impressive but Oscar was SHOT.. and he was Shot vs Floyd too...

Crawford is not a special talent. He fought bums that's why, at his age, he is not a PPV star.

see, now this is the problem of debating boxing with people who either don't know boxing or are biased. Ppv doesn't determine if someone is a special talent. Crawford is 29..Mayweather had his first ppv at 28 and his first successful one was vs Oscar at 30. Pacquiao didn't have his first successful ppv until he faced Oscar too at 30 yrs old. You need to have a superstar be willing to face you in order to reach that status and last I read, Freddie Roach admitted that he doesn't like the idea of a Crawford fight because he know it'd be tough. He may be open to it but he knows Crawford is the real deal since he saw him wash postal up close.

Mosley was never a good defender? Are you nuts?

Defense isn't just about blocking punches, defense is about hitting and not getting hit. Sugar Shane was a master at that art. Even against Avanesyan just recently the man was brilliant defensively.

You're probably one of those who thought Manny would get schooled by Bradley in the rubber match. Pacquiao isn't washed up simply because TBE made him look inferior. Even Floyd admitted he's an A level fighter and gave him major credit in the post fight.

Current Manny Pacquiao beats anyone not named Floyd or Juan Manuel between 140-147 at this stage except MAYBE Errol Spence, and even that's a stretch. Manny's a much more rounded fighter - still a sucker for the right hand, but more intelligent in the ring than he used to be.

mosley was a dynamic offensive fighter, never a top defender. He's always been hit often dating all the way back to his first fight with Oscar, fighting Forrest, cotto, even mayorga hit him alot in their first fight. Mosleys last good stand was vs Margarito. After that he was done as an elite fighter because he stayed inactive for over a year and then was easy work for Floyd, pac, and even struggled with Sergio mora. As far as pac, I've seen all I needed to vs a guy like vargas to know he's not the same fighter that ran through Oscar, Hatton and cotto. Vargas just didn't have the skill to expose how Manny has fallen off. Crawford is a different kind of talent than vargas and I'm sure he'll beat pac convincingly.
