I'm a fan of BOXING! If I go hard on Billy Joe, Kell Brook, Terry Flanagan and others for taking it light after becoming world champion and accusing them of "Holding Belts Hostage" then NO WAY will I give Wilder Immunity when he is doing the EXACT SAME THING!

Don't want to hear about no damn Injury, Wilder aint the first the be injured in this sport and won't be the LAST. Many have been injured and MANY have came back and jumped right back into the fire with NO TUNE UP

Wilder Been Tuning Up since he became Champion. Even before Povetkin became his Mandatory and before he got Injured! Not Lowering American Heavyweight Boxing Standards just so Wilder can look good. He want his respect, he want to be considered great?

He is coming off a serious injury so a soft touch is general practice in boxing.

Boxing is a results business though and Wilder needs to start getting more impressive results if he wants to be thought of as the top guy in the division which he obviously thinks he is.

Wilder started in a credibility hole when he started out and people didn't think he was even a remotely credible prospect. he proved he was and became a contender beat a few decent fighters which a lot of people felt he would lose to or fall apart at the first sign of trouble. Didn't happen. He has done just well enough to prove his doubters wrong but not good enough to really explode which just makes the doubters double down because eventually they will end up correct. So he has to go the extra mile to really get beyond that, and while he has done better than most expected he has not done well to get people on board with him that weren't willing to be an early adopter.

There are maybe 30 Wilder supporters on this site with perhaps twice that who are fans but not really major backers. It is fun to talk about him just because people get so heated over nothing about him when he is not really that hyped or talked about. I hope he can keep his run going as long as possible because it will be very fun~

Stiverne is not good and we literally don't know how Povetkin-Wilder turned out.

                Truth Hurts don't it

So he been coming off of Injury since beating Stiverne? Stop with the excuses. After the Molina fight he could've stepped it the *** up again but no he fought who Duhaupas?

Stop trying to convince yourself you're seeing something great, you're not, you're seeing a guy playing things very safe because despite what he say he doubts himself vs better competition!

I know but the post was more so In General because it is fans who think because you call out Wilder you don't like him or have an Agenda against him. I'm just FAIR I bash Billy Joe for talking tough AFTER GGG is signed to fight but goes quiet when GGG is looking for an opponents.

There is no easy fight for Wilder, if he fights top 50 opponent by boxrec. As we saw, he had troubles against Szpilka, Arreola, Duhaupas, Molina. he was hurt in these fights. So actually i am looking forward to see his next fight against this Polish guy.

Not really similar situations. Golovkin has had endless big title fights lined up in his own division (Sturm, Martinez, Cotto, Canelo, Quillin, etc) and each time was pretty blatantly ducked ("Let it marinate, unecessary risk", etc). Ironically this is where most of his fame/reputation comes from and what made him so big.

The ostarine test isn't Wilder's fault but before that he was choosing to opt for basically the lamest competition available in a division full of guys who wanted and still want to fight him.

Note that I'm not saying Golovkin's record is amazing (people tend to read Golovkin-related posts however they want to read them), but if you followed his rise to fame you'd understand his duck-chasing steak was a bigger deal than his actual fights.
