Ok Barrera looked good against Shabransky but I wanna see him fight Jean Pascal next before going to the next level.

Same here. But, if Barrera comes in ready, like he was vs Shabranskyy, maybe we'd have something.

He's always been a decent fighter, wish the problems with his visa didn't happen and the Beterbiev fight would of taken place awhile back

Barrera was undeniably a top contender before the Ward fight and did nothing to disprove that he belonged there because the fact is, that was Ward and not some club fighter he lost to. But he sent an emphatic message the way he performed and dominated against Shab that he is a force. He has arrived.

No need for Ward vs. barrera 2. It would be the same outcome. Barrera is a good fighter but not on the same level as Ward and Kovalev. I would like to see Barrera vs. Stevenson, that would be a good fight.

How was he not "ready" for Ward?

Uh, he lost? Maybe that's indicative of why? SMH

And BTW, are you not aware of the concept of getting better in losing? He fought Ward, leaned some things obviously, will improve next time... both from his experience and what his trainer saw.
