  • Chollo Vista's NSB Highlights

As you all know by now, the great and honorable Chollo Vista has decided t0 leave us because "reasons" and instead of sharing his infinite boxing knowledge with us.

But luckily I have great memory and will share with you the many nuggets of knowledge given out by Vista himself.

    1. Such a great boxing mind that he doesn't even acknowledge the 1-2.

    2. Thought us about the overhand right to the body.

    3. Discovered Cus D'Amato's long lost brother Gus D'Amato, who I heard was the one who thought Tyson how to chew.

    4. Predicted Jacobs to beat Golovkin but decided not to stick around long enough to rub it in our faces come March 19th. What a great guy he is for doing this.

If you have any more to share of the once great poster please do. And don't be scared to share some of the knowledge his posted from the lounge.

That's the main reason why he's leaving this site. (At least, that's what he wants us to believe.) He's not really sure about the outcome. Leaving now would be more manageable than having to deal with the loss while everyone thinks he's still around.

That time he got confused and was asking why Daniel Jacobs was known as "The Latin Snake".

I'm impressed that he has multiple alts that are clearly him and has managed to prevent the mods from being able to prove it.

He taught me that not only does the almighty Danny Jacobs have a strong chin, but also that every fighter has an equally strong chin. That saves me the time of having to make judgement calls about how durable a fighter is based on in-ring performances.

I'm pretty sure you guys said Ward's chin was suspect, yet he was able to survive flush shots from Kovalev.

Lennox Lewis chin must have been suspect since he was KO'd twice

Maybe George Foreman had a suspect chin. He was dropped at least 4 times by Ron Lyle and KO'd by Ali. Surely his chin is suspect.

Kell Brook was dropped by a guy with 26% punching power.

Lucas Mathysse was stopped by Victor Postol, the great big puncher. I think he has a 40% KO ratio, maybe lower, IDK

          The list goes on.

I really don't get how some anonymous person can be affected by other anonymous people on a boxing forum. So what if you make a big underdog pick and lose it? It's just a message board!

Man, that is one sensitive chollo.

He actually had some priceless ones during the GGG vs Brook build up which showed he had 0 knowledge in the gym. I'm too lazy to go back and check the quotes though.

              This thread is 10/10 ATG.

At least he believes what he believes, Jacobs beating the Kazakhstan superstar. But he'd rather not stick around and wait for the result.

Is all I could find, but granted he deserves a little credit since it was more competitive than most posters thought it would be.
