Ask Oscar but that's what he was going to make it's not some regular fight it's the two biggest names in the sport, 10 mil is a joke for a ppv that would do close to 2 mil buys.

I see you conveniently left out Lara and Kirkland, both of which are better quality opposition than anyone g string has fought. Same for the fighters you mentioned except Liam.

Wow are you lost or what? No way in hell Canelo/g string does 1 million buys let alone 2 million.

Ggg is the hottest name in the sport he generates the most google clicks just look at this board, and even casuals know nela and every Mexican in the US would buy that. You are clearly a idiot if you don't see this doing numbers.

Kirkland really? Brook would mop him and Jacobs would ko him quicker, and I purposely left out Lara cause he didn't beat him he was the judges son that night.

Based on what? That ko of the killer jojo dan? I'll remind you, g string hasn't fought Jacobs yet. I know it doesn't fit your ball gagging agenda, but Canelo beat Lara.

Open your pea sized brain for a minute and I will explain this to you.

                1. Canelo/Cotto did 900k. Canelo's drawing power hasn't increased and no way in hell is g strings as good as Cotto's was let alone better.

                2. PPV success isn't driven by hard core boxing fans. Our numbers will always be there. Those numbers are driven by casual boxing fans and g string just isn't well enough known to them to do much better than about 650K

                3. After Pac/Floyd, the PPV purchasing public is suffering from a hang over. The Ward/Kovalev fight only did 160K! This tells you all you need to know about how fickle the PPV dollar is right now.

                4. g string already has 1 PPV flop under his belt, and now you want me to believe his drawing power is good enough to do 2 million buys? Not a chance in hell.

As noted a Canelo/g string fight won't bring 1 million buys let alone 2 million.

Not sure how it was introduced to this thread but I also think Brook would beat Kirkland easily.

We'll comeback to this in September but that fight is the biggest boxing has to offer to the public you're underestimating the match up.

God you people are ******ed. First of all believing oscar's word on anything is completely foolish. The guys stumbling over his own lies and contradicting himself every other sentence.

First it was 10mil from oscars own mouth now it's 15mil.

Second offering a flat fee for any sort of super fight is complete BS end of story. The split should be anywhere between 70-30 to 60-40 in Canelos favor.

GB is clearly trying to milk him for as long possible before he has to take a probable beating at the hands of GGG.

It's so ****ing transparent I can't tell if some of you are just willfully ignorant.

The idea that GGG doesn't want the fight is laughable, literally every fighter on the planet would take a chance at Canelo but naw GGG don't want it lmao
