Golovkin fans said the exact same thing when Canelo/DLH revealed a 8 figure offer was made. Loeffler would come out and say they were lying if they were. Golovkin is still holding out for a ridiculous 40% split, which is pricing themselves out.

Lloefler is a polite guy. He's not the kind of guy that goes to the media and say they are lying. AFAIK, he never did.

In the GGGboxing Instagram account, they did accuse GBP and Canelo of lying, somehow, by posting this after the fight:

It is December, 2016. The fight is supposed to be in September, 2017. We really shouldn't talk about negotiations that we know nothing about until after Canelo fights in May. Relax, people.

The Kovalev-Ward agreement over a year ahead of time with scheduled tune ups leading up to it was silly and is not the norm.

Ten million dollars is one helluva an offer for someone with exactly ZERO quality wins.
