You simple azz haters are so butt hurt from Ward winning that you can't even understand what's happening here. Why the hell do you think both Ward and Kovalev did interviews with Fox Sports Live? To build the dang rematch up! Also, you dumb asses read a headline and get in your feelings like little girls but don't actually read the quotes. Ward says it's not right to play the nationality card after he's been living and earning a living in America for as long as Kovalev has. Close fight...Ward got the nod. Stop being a hater all your life.

The polls speak for themselves, 70% think Kov won, 8% draw, 22% think Ward won. 3 judges thought Ward won. End of.

Doesn't matter what Ward or Kovalev believes. Move on to the rematch.

Much like Marquez cried foul in his first three fights with Pacquiao, Kovalev is not going to let anyone forget that "he won" this fight even though the official record shows otherwise.
People see this differently and that's predictable.

Fact is, if you are a fan you will be biased and no amount of logic will sway you.

Fortunately for us there was a rematch clause. I hope they fight the rematch by April.

Like more than three fourth of the boxing community and the boxing press, I think also that you ...... LOSE.

Your incessant recent talking shows us that you know that clearly.

            Maybe the next time.

Kovalev is probably entitled to complain as many thought he won the fight. But I do think he didn't quite press the action as much as he could have after the knockdown as Ward was vulnerable but a fair argument that he won.

A true warrior and champion would not continue to talk about a gift he received from the judges - he would want to erase all doubts. Ward isn't Mayweather - Floyd would have scheduled the rematch in 4 months from the date and left no doubts in the rematch - Ward is insecure about himself and really relies on every advantage in fights - including illegal clinches, hometown advantages (would never fight in Moscow), etc. Ward will never be considered great until he actually strives for greatness.

As for what Ward is saying - I haven't even heard anything from Kovalev, he's been quiet. All I hear is Duva and Ward, with Ward constantly talking about how much Kovalev is talking and how he won and so on. That screams insecurity to me; I think Ward himself isn't sure if he got the win and is trying to convince himself with all this talk. Just take the rematch and settle it once and for all.
It says in the article that Ward was responded to an interview that Kov had indicating that he was robbed. Just because you haven't heard anything doesn't mean he isn't talking. Also, these 10+ articles about what Ward is saying probably came from one interview. It's not like he's saying these things every day as presented on this website... The rematch will happen. Right now, everyone is posturing for future negotiations and hyping the fight. Considering the number of comments on Ward's articles, it is working. LOL.

... Ward said "it was a close fight" twice...
Kovalev (the "champ") out-landed Ward, sent him to the canvas.

Ward didn't do enough to get more than a "draw".
