    Canelo the King

Getting hostile in this thread lol. Ggg has to get past Jacobs and look good dining it in order to get the Canelo fight! Canelo is the star of boxing the big ticket not ggg not anyone else for that matter get that right! Lot of clowns here stating nonsense! But truth be told, Canelo is the king of this game at this moment and until someone takes it from him, he will continue to be the man to beat!!! I hope ggg wins so canelo can beat ggg and end that hype job, I thought pacquiao had dilusional fans but ggg fans take the clowns of the decade award lol . Too funny

Even Liam smith knows this problem that's why he said if he doesn't make 154 again I'm not fighting him. So Ronnie was asked about that knowing that Canelo will soon be officially 160 and said he would rather put him in there wit Canelo first and then later on maybe ggg. He thinks he can beat Canelo already but not ggg. It's ok to think that I'm just letting u know real recognize real
I don't look at Ronnie Shields as the reason for Charlo's success. Jermall is an extraordinary talent that would be great regardless. Shields was inadequate at times with prime Cintron. I bet if Charlo was offered the Triple G fight he would sign it. He's ready. He needs to stay active and try to fight in his MW debut in March to put pressure on a showdown.

People **** on it now, but the 90/10 (with Alvarez giving Golovkin the full 6lbs) offer originally mentioned, from a business perspective, is about where the split, on a percentage basis, should actually be (with Golovkin's percentage moving up a couple points for every pound he's willing to come down).

If Golovkin/K2 are ready to take the event on a 10% share with Golovkin not having to give up weight, great.

To simply give Golovkin the 6lbs and 40% is foolish
Lmaooo what 6 pounds are u talking about????? Canelo is a natural f u c k I n g middleweight he barely makes 154 he's a fat Mexican bullying fighters at 154 for so damn long nobody respects that. That's why he got no respect in the boxing world. He made joseito Lopez come up 20 f u c k in g pounds enough wit the bs why u think all of a sudden he's going up to 165 to fight Chavez if that happens??? Because it was never ever a problem for him and he knows he can most likely beat Chavez but when it comes to other fights at that weight like ggg then naaahhhh he's not a middleweight.. Cmon bruh understand this stop talking about 6 pounds because that ain't s h I t for Canelo that's not nothing that's not hard work he can easily make that every fight he's had 154 he comes in overweight and if it wasn't for Oscar he would have been suspended by now that's why Liam smith said if u don't come in at proper weight I'm not fighting come fight night straight up!! Bro to me it's whatever I see a lot of people dont understand the real truth but real fans who have knowledge know Canelo is a b I t c h and if he doesn't fight ggg next year and offer a fair contract then it's over for Canelo. Canelo stock is declining for sure his fight wit cotto made 900k the Amir 500k then wit Liam like 200k trust me fans know wassup while ggg stock is only gonna rise watch.

For Saul Alvarez's last fight, he fought at junior middleweight, made 154lbs without any issue, and proceeded to put forward a hard full fight (where he ended up stopping Liam Smith).

Saul Alvarez seemingly has no issue making 154 and, as the money man in the fight, it'd be his prerogative to call to have the fight at 154lbs (a weight that he makes without any issue). Golovkin's camp have said that he'd be able to make 154 with no issue (with his camp and his fanbase pushing this nonsense about Golovkin being a "small middleweight"); with their actions otherwise, it is fair to say that that camp talk was bull****.

Alvarez can make 154 with no issue; the same cannot be said for Golovkin. Any weight beyond 154 (a weight that Alvarez has already shown that he can comfortably make and perform well at) will obviously come at a financial trade-off, logic would expect.

Alvarez and Chavez Jr are both big stars; with no title status at stake in this matchup of big stars, the talks come down to money split and the weight needed for both fighters to be comfortable with the fight (Chavez Jr is obviously the bigger guy, he's shown that he can make 168lbs, and he and his camp believe that he can get even lower in weight. Alvarez gives up some size, Chavez Jr has to leave a little bit more of himself in the gym, and the two stars have their fight at 165lbs).

No different than Cotto-Alvarez; ignoring the bull**** about the lineal belt, Cotto and Alvarez negotiated a fight, agreed on a weight that both guys were comfortable with, had their fight at 155lbs, and took that event money to the bank.

Alvarez doesn't care about Golovkin's shiny trinkets; everyone knows that Golovkin has yet to fight anyone serious, was handed the WBC belt, was handed the WBA Regular belt, was handed the WBA Super belt, and was basically handed the vacant IBF belt.

Alvarez is clearly focused on pursuing the biggest fights events; the moment Golovkin and his camp realize that, they'll wise up.

And Golovkin, when he decides to do so, is great at picking shots off with his elbows and also having his right hand in perfect position to block (i.e. the exchange of left hooks with Lemieux in round 4). Standing there and exchanging with GGG will get Jacobs knocked out sooner.
I respect your opinion, even though I may not agree with it. Golovkin is like a locomotive; An irresistible force who only knows how to fight one way and that is off his front foot. Jacobs is going to have to put some serious leather and hurt on him in order to slow him down by making him think twice by rushing in. If Jacobs doesn't catch him often and frequently enough with hard power punches, then Gennady is only going to get stronger as the fight progresses.

Gennady doesn't like to get hit. He often freezes up once his opponents unleash an offensive assault on him. As was the case with Willie Monroe, Jr. and Kell Brook. Their mistake was going into the fight to attempt to out box, survive and last the distance against GGG by running away from him which got them both knocked out. One have to stand their ground against a bully slugger like Golovkin, if they are planning on being successful or stand any chance of winning against him.

Bro it doesn't matter what u say. People know Canelo shouldn't be at 154. People know this. And u keep forgetting to mention that he doesn't have big names on his resume because fighters simply just don't wanna risk it in there wit him. One must not forget that. They rather risk it wit Canelo than fight ggg. Ask cotto ask Sergio who fought cotto but will never ever fight ggg. Floyd too. Ggg said he would go down for Floyd. Not Canelo because canelo doesn't belong there. And handed the belts?? Lmao! Because they were scared like Canelo?? Do u remember he vacated?? Ppl rather hand the belts than fight. That's how scary ggg is. They rather not hold on to their belts and go out like a chump.

Kovalev was arrested in 2012 for stealing a cell phone.
