This fight is interesting on so many levels

    1. This is GGG's best opponent he's faced who has literally every advantage on him except power (which is debatable) and skill. I believe Jacobs will bring out a Golovkin we've never seen before.

2.Can Jacobs chin hold up? Yes Pirog gave him issues and KO'ed him but he prepared badly for what was suppose to be an easy fight. He won't make that mistake twice.

    3. This is a true test for both. I favor GGG but Jacobs is a live dog in there.

Golovkin might go to sleep in 3 rounds. The winner must fight Charlo to see who the best MW is. Canelo is behind with a less impressive Beefy Smith win than the electrify JRock KO. Also, Charlo is an undefeated champion who knocks out everyone not named Trout.

Lmfao cotto?? Ducked ggg and will never fight ggg but he will of course fight Canelo cause he way less of a threat. Lara?? Just talks about ggg but wit Canelo he actually didn't respect at all but he won't ever disrespect ggg. Trout?? Destroyed cotto who was his best win. A guy ggg wouldve destroyed between 3-5 rds. Mosley??? Don't make me laugh. Too old and he said ggg hits harder as ggg sparred him. Lopez??? BUM! Khan???? SUPER BUM! **** outta here wit that. And these are guys Canelo should not be fighting because he is way bigger than them he doesn't belong at 154 that's why all of sudden he's going up 2 165 to fight Chavez like it ain't big deal because it never was for him he was just scared of ggg and still is lmfaooo

Oh and btw Ronnie shields said he will not put him in there wit ggg. But he would put Charlo in there wit Canelo because we all know why lol he feels they can beat Canelo but not ggg.

Yeah I know, but Jacobs has some speed and reach attributes that Lemieux lacks. We could very well see a methodical beatdown from a cautious Golovkin, but if Jacobs does try to jump on Golovkin early like he did Quillin, then boom.

I think GGG gains momentum the longer it goes. Jacobs showed us with Quillin though, he can surprise us.
When has Golovkin ever been put in with a fighter that the general consensus was "this guy can punch". People can rightly argue David Lemieux (who can't really box if we're honest) and then ... who?

The fact that Kell Brook was able to put hands on Golovkin and draw a reaction gives me the sense that Golovkin isn't going to just be able to walk through the shots coming in by Jacobs without getting slept.

Whether I'd call it "momentum" or not, Golovkin doesn't hit hard enough to put anyone out with a single shot. Rather than eliminator power, like Randall Bailey, Deontay Wilder, Adonis Stevenson, Anthony Joshua, etc, Golovkin's power is like a baseball bat. The first shot's not going to do it, it's usually that 8th, 9th, 10th shot that puts things in real trouble.

If it comes down to a straight boxing match, I don't see Golovkin being able to outbox Jacobs, tbh.

Agreed. I have to wonder whether or not Jacobs is going to jump in early for the surprise or play it more cautious, respecting Golovkin power. I believe that if Jacobs doesn't **** him out, which I don't see happening, that the first clean shot from GGG will get Danny's attention and respect
