Golovkin will be much more defensive against a fighter he actually respects, i.e. Stevens and Lemieux. Fight will go 9-10, with Golovkin winning almost every round and wearing DJ down.
Spot on! For Lemieux, he was much more defensive minded. Same with Stevens.
I can see the fight going this way. Unlike Stevens and DL, Jacobs will have the edge in height, reach and speed when you compare him to those guys. Both ggg and jacobss are great for the sport. I'm hoping DJ comes out victorious
Yeah good point about DJs advantages. I also don't think DJ is not as chinny as people say. Mora dropped him with an unbalance flash knock down that didn't hurt him, and Pirog was a good fighter.
I was hoping for, and somewhat expecting it, when I drove to NYC for Golovkin-Lemieux. Instead, I watched a methodical boxing clinic put on by Gennady. I'm expecting the same thing with Jacobs. Golovkin by TKO in 9
