Two monstrous punchers, two exemplary pro careers so far, who wins out of the battle of 'the beasts from the east' to establish themselves as the clear number 1 of the light heavyweight division?

in my eyes the winner of beterbiev v kovalev would be number 1. Kovalev beat ward imo, so way i see it hes the best fighter. Im going with my opinion not that of three american judges, i dont need them to tell me what went on in the ring, i probably know more about judging a fight than them three clowns combined.
