GGG being a star/PPV star is the reason so many of you guys have supported him receiving over 15 mil for Canelo. Which is it? If you can't do 300k vs Jacobs or better, why do you deserve over 15 mil against Canelo?

Even Mayweather is not a PPV star all by himself. Even more so with others like Cotto, Canelo, etc. The real PPV star is the fight itself. GGG vs Alvarez is HUGE not only in the American continent, but the whole world. You gotta be an idiot not to recognize that.

I haven't read a lot of negative. What I have seen is fans over-selling the level of competition Jacobs brings and people here bringing them back down to earth.
Jacobs is not going to be much of a threat to Golovkin. People like 50/50 fights, not 80/20.

Either way, I don't want to detract from the purpose of this thread, GGG vs Jacobs is an incredible fight with two KO punchers in their prime going head to head.

For the past 6+ years Jacobs and GGG have stopped every opponent put in front of them. Jacobs has only gone 12 rounds once his entire career. I'm not sure GGG has.

This fight is supreme and anyone stating otherwise needs to go away

There was a time when I thought Jacobs would have a very solid chance at dropping Golovkin with an uppercut. In fact, I still think it's his likely route to victory. However, rewatching a lot of Danny's fights I'm really concerned about how he matches up with Golovkin defensively. I don't think he's rugged enough to be eating shots from Golovkin, or that he's mindful enough to avoid them.

Don't get me wrong, I like Danny and will be rooting for him. I hope he proves me wrong. Seriously.

I also think it's cool that you have stuck with your belief in the guy. I mentioned that in one of the threads yesterday.
