Yea sure thats the most likely scenario.

I suspect this fight between Floyd & Conor has just above a 0% chance of happening & I suspect Floyd has just above a 0% chance of fighting anyone in the ring, cage or whatever again, but if they did fight it would be HUUUUUUUUGE & both guys would need each other for it to be HUUUUUUUUUGE.
no one wanted to see may vs berto so the money wasted promoting it would have been, wasted. may is the most business savvy boxer ever (maybe even out of all athletes). i trust he knows what hes doing with his career. he needs no one.

may vs pac 2 or maybe may vs cotto 2. mcbeggor picked the wrong sport to whine about fighting may.

may vs mcbeggor......hhhmmmmm......in boxing ? it would be a joke. in kickboxing, meh. if your name isnt bruce lee, i dont want to men kicking each other.

Floyd sure is talking about him a lot lately is all I know. Elephants don't talk about ants. I think you, like most boxing fans, are underplaying the level of mainstream popularity McGregor has & the combat sports world as a whole. And Floyd isn't & knows talking about McGregor is helping the Mayweather brand...regardless if a fight actually ever were to pop off between them that would crush MayPac numbers. That said the fight isn't gonna happen...but if it did........

it wasnt until mcbeggor got a bad case of iwanymaymoneyitis that may even noticed him. when may is bored, he will talk about slapping the taste out of his mouth. teasing him with the thought of a fight (huge payday for mcbeggor) actually happening.

lets see if mcbeggor is the mma standard after 15+ years.

No boxers will fight him because he clinches, runs and is an unfair control freak; everything is always in his favor (from weight, venue, ring size, gloves, jockstraps, shoes, judges, referee etc...).

Floyd wanted Danny Garcia but his Pops said no, they're not going to chase chickens and mess up their record/career.

And this is why he's begging for a UFC/MMA fighter like Connor McGregor (which is ******ed in it self) to a fight because he can't sell anymore.

You act as if most people don't want a Floyd fight. They do, the whole thing about him being a control freak is just silly. Not because of the fact that most people are upset that he asks for all of the money, venue etc from a moral standpoint.....but because the people who are on the opposite end would love to be in his shoes to control the shots like GGG, Canelo etc. Why wouldn't you want to be able to dictate what you want from the fight? Or any facet of your life? Danny is spoiled because he benefits from the back of Floyd and his hard work to even help Al get a company like PBC in the mix and his father has already said, in regards to the Thurman/Porter fight, why risk each other when you can fight a rod salka for millions?

They kinda did promote it. Floyd did interviews, they did the normal 24/7 All-Access shows, they even tried to stir up personal beef between them over something that I can't remember, Floyd promised a knockout, etc. It didn't sell because IMO most of Floyd's drawing power came from being the villain that everyone wanted to see get laid out, and after they witnessed Pacquiao (the guy built up for years as his conqueror) get so easily schooled like most of the rest, most people just gave up on ever seeing him lose.

I don't got no idea what you are trying to say vs what I'm saying. No clue what 15 years after Conor has to do with anything I'm saying. I'm not **** measuring Floyd vs Conor in historical perspective lol.

I'm just saying if they fought now it'd be the hugest thing in combat sports ever. It'd do more buys & revenue than Floyd vs Manny. Freak show or nah don't matter. Where Conor stands in the combat sports world in 2031 don't matter. If Floyd is bored or not don't matter.

If you don't personally care about the fight fair enough. **** I don't really care about the fight either I'm just saying IF they did fight it'd be the biggest thing in combat sports ever.

I agree with what Schaefer said. I think this fight would have been better promoted as Floyd's last fight. I think they didn't even have to mention Berto necessarily if this was done right. I think if they do mention Berto they play up the beef more then they did. Idek what the beef was exactly. Berto got sloppy seconds of Floyd's girls or Floyd got sloppy seconds of Berto's girls or something f#cking silly like that. Regardless I overall disagree with you I think everyone phoned it in with this last Floyd fight from Showtime to Mayweather Promotions to the fighters themselves.
