The irony is that..if he was knocked down inside the ring... He'd probably have gotten up. He might've have a chance to come back in the fight as there was still 4 rounds left.

but he flew out of the ring. He went out the BHop way unfortunately. Special boxer, legend... ended in a memorable way.

Hopkins was hurt even before that last left hook knocked him out of the ring. I doubt he would have even gotten up before the count of 10 and if he did, chances are very good he would have been hurt much worse.

Hopkins fell out of the ring because he lost his balance.

Yeah, Smith got him, but he didn't get him that good. If B-Hop wouldn't have been trying to throw himself against the ropes, he wouldn't have fallen through them like that.

He was actually on pace to win the fight if you look at the official scorecards. He was turning the fight in the past few rounds.

I thought Hopkins was doing fairly well I had him up by 1 round at the time of the stoppage, but idk what Hopkins was trying to do shouting foul. I mean he got blasted out.

Just be happy knowing that you had some good moments and won some rounds.
