Good. Some of the villageidiots here now has a massive crow to eat. Funny how they say Jacobs is GGG's best opponent. I bet that come april, those same guys will tell you how overrated that bum jacobs was and that he hardly makes GGG's 10 best opponents list.

I suspect we'll see GGG with his defences up for the first few rounds v Jacobs like with lemmy. If he feels power from Jacobs the guard will stay up. If he drops the guard and goes into terminator mode, then you know he's not feeling it from Jacobs. Jacobs basically needs to keep him honest and stay off the ropes. If Jacobs goes to the ropes GGG's left to the body is one of his best weapons - he needs to stay off there.
I hope so because he's not getting any younger and we just want to see him fighting as often as poss. I'm anxious that Golovkin retires and we'll be looking at fights like Jacobs as his finest hour (providing he beats him). That would be sad, never knowing how good he really was.

It will be interesting to see what Jacobs is capable of, he is still a very quality athlete with good boxing skills and real power. I don;t put much stock in the Pirog fight given Jacob's medical condition at the time but he certainly has to be the best he can be.

I don't know how Golovkin will approach Jacob's but really he should be aggressive because I don't think that Jacob's boxing is good enough to withstand real pressure and heat. He needs to be careful so he doesn't eat big counters and he needs to not allow Jacobs to really build up his confidence.

I favor Golovkin because he is the more consistent guy and I don't believe Jacob's to have great defense. Still it is a fight that will have fireworks because Golovkin also lacks defense.

Damn, if that's true I don't want to hear anymore crap about how Golovkin isn't paying guys to get into the ring with him.

Actually, it's another mismatch so I'm not giving any props to Golovkin's team

People act like Jacobs didn't get knocked the **** out by Pirog (who? ha ha)

people complaining about PPV when it's clear that the only reason for that is to pay jacobs what he wanted

It was over 6 years ago and he had KO'd every opponent across from him since.

I'v never said GGG ducked. I'm one of the only Ward fans that will say GGG didn't duck him. I know the difference between a duck and a fight not being financially beneficial or the risk isn't worth the reward. I've always blamed Loeffler and will continue to. Even with the Canelo situation I'm putting the blame on Loeffler.
