How on earth was he allowed to go ahead and fight after failing another test? Regardless of whether someone wanted to step in last minute - it shouldn't have been sanctioned.

Dahaupas took this fight on such short notice that he didn't even have time to put on boxing shoes.

I'm just as baffled. In no way should this be official.

It would have been a very impressive win, but Povetkin got busted again it's a shame. Don't know what will happen now.

That's what i'm thinking. What's the point of testing then letting the dirty fighter, fight?

Povetkin taking PEDs isn't a big deal. The fact is, the majority of top athletes take them.

I'm not really shocked at anything in boxing nowadays. Don't have the stamina for it. Great KO by Povetkin, though mitigated by the fact that Duhaupas had no time to train. What happens to the Takam fight now? Does Stiverne take that, or just sit out the next few months, year? (don't even know why I'm asking that question)

It sounds like he went there to watch the fight on the 15th. A few hours before the fight it was dropped as an eliminator. If Duhaupas wasn't there the card may have been cancelled so they offered him the fight to save the card. I think Stiverne was getting 1.5 million. I would be shocked if Duhaupas wasn't paid half of that. One thing for sure is Duhauoas is a warrior & has no regrets about taking the fight. He said it was his destiny. He broke his nose so I'm assuming the Takam fight is off. If he didn't break his nose I would be surprised if he didn't go forward with the Takam fight. A true old school fighter. He always takes fights on short notice.
