Proof that Russia embraces ped cheating. Why is he even allowed to fight? Stivern was gonna get screwed so bad. Those score cards were already filled outLast edited by Lou Cipher; 12-17-2016, 10:42 AM.

Edit: Wasn't Takam/Duhaupas going to be a lesser eliminator as well? Maybe Takam can fight Stiverne instead now. If Duhaupas beats Povetkin, winner of Takam/Stiverne fights Duhaupas for the mando spot. If Duhaupas loses you can just make Takam/Stiverne the final eliminator.

to be honest i can see the moral reasons why stiverne pulled out and its povetkin who has to take the blame but theres fans who bought tickets who were looking forward to the fight and he should have fought in my opinion. fair play for duhuapus for stepping in, thats what a real fighter does, they get offered a big fight and they take it, win lose or draw i give my respect to him.

The winner was in line for a big fight. Possibly in a final eliminator vs Dillian Whyte? I suspect Stiverne pulled out because he is either now Wilder's mandatory or he faces Whyte in the final eliminator next.

Russian reality TV show Game2: Winter to 'allow' **** and murder in Siberia
A new Russian reality show where crimes are “allowed” will begin next year.
Game2: Winter will strand 30 contestants in the -40F (-40C) Siberian wilderness for nine months with the surviving winner receiving a $1.6m prize. It will stream 24/7 online.
“Each contestant gives consent that they could be maimed, even killed,” reads an advert. “2000 cameras, 900 hectares and 30 lives. Everything is allowed. Fighting, alcohol, murder, ****, smoking, anything.”
Contestants will each sign a waiver acknowledging that they might be ****d or killed but the rules also state that police are free to arrest anyone who commits a crime on the show. “You must understand that the police will come and take you away,” the rules state. “We are on the territory of Russia, and obey the laws of the Russian Federation.”
Contestants will be placed in a landscape where bears and wolves are likely to be living. According to the Siberian Times, knives will be allowed yet guns are forbidden. The show is the brainchild of entrepreneur Yevgeny Pyatkovsky who says he “will refuse any claim of participants even if they were to be killed or ****d”.
There won’t be a crew but rather 2,000 cameras dotted around the area. Each contestant will also have their own personal recording device. Willing participants need to be 18 and “mentally sane” to compete.
“The show promises to be international,” Pyatkovsky said. “Five countries have already expressed the desire to broadcast it for their audiences.”
He claims that 60 people have already applied, including one American.

Russia is for real about having a culture of PED usage lmfao. This is f#cking nuts. This is worse then then any of the "Mexican meat" situations where they decided to let fights go forth despite a positive test for a banned substance.
But since this happened in Russia idk that anything really happens to Povetkin as far as punishment. I mean the WBC will likely drop him from the rankings & "suspend" him for whatever that means for the WBC, but commissions are the one letting fights happen or not & I don't see anyone in Russia giving a f#ck what the WBC thinks.

I'm very loose on PED **** as I've discussed & debated many times, but either banned substances are cool or they aren't & if they aren't Povetkin shouldn't be fighting anyone in a professional boxing match.
