Canelo is the Mexican super star, that's what Oscar de La Hoya (who some consider charlatan) says. That super star dumped the belt in favor of GGG without throwing a punch. If you know a little bit math, who is the bigger star now, the one who dumped the belt or the one who took it without a fight?

      1. Canelo>GGG
      2. GGG>Canelo

I think GGG> Canelo, and only dumb people, with IQ of 70, who are next to ******ed will insist the opposite is true.

To all the dumb GGG haters, look at GGG world record! The highest KO % by a MW champion! Now again the question. Who is the bigger star Canela or GGG?

What are Canelo fans smoking here, lol! the only reason cotto/canelo sold that amount was because of the Mexico/Puerto Rico rivalry, there are a lot of puertoricans that follow their fighters as there are mexicans that do the same, after the Cotto fight, Canelo has not seen that amount of ppv, kahn was a known name and British people are on the rise again following their fighters, what happened when Canelo fought Smith, 250k ppv aprox for the allstar ppv king, lol! people are realizing the fraud cherry picker that canelo is, and you people are complaining about a 160ppv for golovking on the lemieux fight wich none of them are american, nor puertorican, nor mexican, my gues is he is being steadily wining on fans as contrary to canelo that his fans has been lowering lately, the only reason his next fight would sell if it was with chavez jr is because it's another mexican, wich is another shame from mexico, no real talent, just a mexican who bullies other boxers with weight, sounds familiar? the thing is, Chavez has a real hard time making 168lb imagine trying to get to 165lb, Canelo will be comfortable @ that weight, and on fight night both will weight about the same, 180lb, the only difference is that Chavez will be weight drained and probably weak on fight night.

Returning, based on Canelos last ppv it is not crazy for GGG's team to demand a purse split, still, Oscar de la Hoya probably is contemplating the chavez fight for leverage on negotiations, because they/we all know it will sell and the reason I explained already.

I being GGG would accept the 10mil and would make Canelo look bad on the ring punish and knock him out as he did with Curtis Stevens or Lemieux, and I know that Canelo wont be able to handle GGG's power, Canelo is no Floyd on boxing abilities, he is flat footed, can move his head, but not his legs. Hope the fight happens.

No trainer should ever cross fingers on a fight that is long overdue. It's ridiculous. They should be imposing deadlines and if fights can't get made, then stop pursuing it and move on.

The thing is that if Canelo does not fight GGG that ghost will hunt him for the rest of his career, fans will keep shoving it , that fight is what the fans want to see, and what the fans are willing to pay for, not Canelo fighting on handicapped matches made for him to win, we like to see competitive fights, like to see boxers struggle to win. Nothing that de la Hoya has done with Canelo.
