I have a friend who works in the commission (wont mention his name for obvious reasons) and he told me Canelo was 193.5 the night of the Khan fight and 197.4 the night of the Cotto fight.

"Like when Vegeta first witnessed Zarbon's transformation." For any DBZ fan this was the funniest **** you'll read all week.

So don't come here with that 10/15 pounds rule.
I don't think he gained weight to 180 after weigh in, but just wanted to post the opinion of the guy who actually works in boxing, and was shocked to see Canelo's transformation. He claimed he looked so huge compared to the day before that 180 didn't seem unreasonable. He's not affirming anything.
Never been in a boxing locker room where they do the day-of weights, but rumor has it that those weights are nowhere near as formal as the "strip to your near skivvys" weights at the official weigh-in.

'Alvarez is this giant man, therefore he should have no issues agreeing to give Golovkin the full 160lbs (even though Alvarez has already shown that he can still make 154, and Golovkin and his camp have humg their hats on this nonsense about Golovkin being a small middleweight who could fight at 154)'

The most controversial weigh-in for Gatti was clearly the Joey Gamanche fight, where he "weighed in at 140lbs" (rumors abound that the scale was gimmicked to allow Gatti to actually weigh several pounds above that) and ended up weighing 160lbs, unofficially, on fight night.
If you have a fight where Gatti was actually rumored to have weighed in that high, the information would be greatly appreciated
