I'm not saying he definitely is a game changer. I'm merely saying potentially he's a game changer. And if you don't see how a HW who's been deemed the 5th most marketable athlete (not boxer) in the world (not just the UK) isn't a game changer for whoever works with him idk what to say to convince you.
I mean for sure there is still the need for Joshua to live up to the hype he's got behind him, but this cat already gots more sponsors them most elite level guys have in their whole career. Imagine how big Joshua gets if he beats Klitschko in April to further legitimize himself?
And I'd also suggest there is a need for the American casual fan to get aboard the Joshua train since there seems to be a lack of interest in boxing by American sports fans & even past that point I believe its harder for a non-latino, non-American to become popular PPV caliber guys in the US with only Lennox Lewis & Manny Pacquiao being about to do it in the last few decades as I recall it.
So for sure its not a done deal that Joshua is gonna become the Mayweather of boxing worldwide cuz there are obstacles, but right now I don't think anyone is a close 2nd in becoming as popular as Joshua could & for sure that would be huge if Showtime could have a relationship with that guy in the early portion of his career as he becomes must see TV.
