It takes a big money fight away from Golovkin narrowing his options and puts pressure on him to take the $10 mil. We all know Golovkin would have took a Chavez Jr fight if he wasn't forced to a fight his mandatory

Lol if this happens it's the single most useless 'big' fight in history. Canelo is moving up.to saw for what? A big payday? Jr hasn't been a relevant fighter for years. Lol

Canelo is soon to be king of the most irrelevant ppvs in boxing.

I hope you also called GGG-Chavez a **** fight too and not being one of the hypocrites.

164? And what fkn weight is this? Are we really to believe Canola can't find himself a weight class? What a waste of talent.

This will be absolutely humongous in the PPV department.

Two really big names, all Mexican, Canelo against a much bigger guy...easily over a million buys.

Golovkin was trying to get this fight, Canelo is trying to steal it

I thought GBP was suing Al Haymon? Now it seems they can work together. Why? $$$$$

GGG has a better chance of losing to Jacobs than Canelo to Chavez.

You can't force a guy to sign a contract. I'm just happy we have a superfight in the works with 2 guys who will come to fight.
Except Canelo was injured and was going to be out for a while when the GGG contract was offered. Why would GGG sign it then when he could hold off and make more money a few months down the line?
Also lol at super fight. Chavez Jnr shouldn't even be relevant.

I thought it was a joke when Sanchez was calling out Chavez Jnr for GGG, I think it's an even bigger joke than Canelo may fight. Especially given that he said he was too small for MW to get out of the fight with GGG in the first place, now he wants to bypass middleweight all together and create a new Canelo weight to fight more bums.

This is a joke fight, Golden boy are a disgrace and Canelo is pathetic. Dodges the best fighters at MW, Dodges the best fighters at LMW. He knows GGG, Andrade and some of the other LMW's have his number.

It's like drag up welter from 147, drag down light heavy to 165, fight a bum at 154.

What happened to Canelo? He used to fight top opposition. He's not even fighting in a weight class anymore.

This fight should've happened when Chavez was still at 160 and on a winning streak.
