Who were those mandatories? I think your issue should be with the WBC.

3.5 YEARS AGO V TONY BELLEW

Jean Pascal worked his way into becoming mandatory challenger, Sergey Kovalev beat Pascal to become the new mandatory challenger and then punked out of the fight once mandated, and then the WBC worked though the process to re-establish a new mandatory challenger in Alvarez.

        you played yourself

Basically you just made stuff up to pretend like you won a E-Point over me.

So in over 3 years, you have made up a reason why 1 mando didnt fight and act like that's actually a coherent argument

I love how you typed that and thought to yourself ' yeah i got him '

Sergey Kovalev was mandatory, Main Events/Kovalev ran their mouths about "forcing the fight", GYM/Stevenson (after the failure of the first negotiation) looked to send the fight directly to bids, and Main Events/Kovalev ducked out, trying to cite some nonsense about already having a longterm contract after already telling everyone that their obligation to HBO was done with.

            Nothing to make up.

Pascal was the mandatory (and was not looking for the fight on his 25% mandated share), then Kovalev (whose camp didn't want even the possibility that the 50/50 split would hit the open market), and then the WBC had to esablish a new mandatory challenger (with Elieder Alvarez emerging as that guy).

Alvarez has his fight coming up, and then Stevenson-Alvarez is already due for April/May 2017.

            hate if you want

Humm, it's weird how some of you don't even bother asking the question why Kovalev or Ward are still avoiding to fight Stevenson, for the Undisputed title, for the number 1 pound for pound in the world ranking spot. Instead of that, you guys waste your time trying to inferiorized Stevenson lineal position, hoping the mass and medias to fall for your subject. Just because you just wish that the already deviated public opinion remains dumm, dumm enough to block any process of making the Ward vs Stevenson fight a reality. You don't wish to see the best fighter wins, you don't care Stevenson is better than Kovalev or Ward, you just hope to see him out of the equation. You see, if Stevenson is that easy, easier than Kovalev, why Ward is giving excuses to avoid the clash. Why he's talking about retirement as a business leverage tactic, if he could just claim he'd fight Stevenson to pick the crown belt.
But as I say, you just hope this fight to never happen, you mass follower, the Stevenson subject make you guys lie to yourselves over & over...

They can talk, they can run, they can hide, they can wish for Stevenson to get old; it won't change the fact that Stevenson will become the Undisputed Champion of the LHW division. Nobody wants to be KO'd by Stevenson, not Kovalev nor Ward. But it will happen to who ever has the belts in their hands. It's weird how followers don't bother to know who would become the 1st Undisputed LHW Champion of the world. It's like not hoping this fight happens, just because you already know Stevenson will wins that fight.

Not that bad, Arum will contribute to open HBO's back door to Stevenson. Stevenson will be closer to his belts, Ward won't be able to flee that far... Hate makes you blind, you think Stevenson doesn't want it...

Does this mean Alvarez would be passed up in favour of Gvozdyk?
