That remains to be seen. People have been saying that for the past two years and HBO has still been putting up better numbers by a significant margin. Which tells you people aren't subscribing to Showtime.

Crawford vs. Molina, which was considered a huge mismatch and totally irrelevant just blew out both Showtime events. Despite Showtime having the superior fights.

At some point Showtime is going to have to close the gap right? HBO has budget restrictions yet it's barely hurting their ratings.

Call me when their fighters are active enough to take them seriously. Most of them are on strike or something. Fans are getting crumbs from these people when they have the largest stable of fighters.

Call me when they're able to make PPV worthy fights in their own backyard. Otherwise, this is all smoke and mirrors coming from a clown who gets constantly ripped off by Haymon, Schaefer, Floyd.

For hardcore boxing fans it is pretty obvious which network has been getting the job done. This is a place of hardcore boxing fans so there is really only one way to answer that question.

If fans don't push for HBO to do better and demand more they will not get more or better at best getting more of the same. So if you really love HBO boxing then you have to be truthful about what they are doing because the writing is on the wall if nothing changes.

Showtime has been expected to do well because they have most of the fighters in their stable. Sadly, their fighters are now fighting once a year.
