Espinoza is a douchbag but I think he really wants Showtime to be the king network of boxing. I think he wants great fights and I think he is slowly trying to become a little bit more independant of Al Haymon, while still maintaining a good working relationship.

However, the showtime ratings are consistently f**king horrible. I know ratings aren't everything and SHO is doing some good digital stuff, but get some decent ratings before claiming to be the "market leader".

HBO gets clowned (rightfully so most of the time) for their wack match ups and when they pull in bad ratings, but SHO always gets a pass. And the reason for that is that HBO is still the recognized market leader, and Showtime is secondary.

Espinoza also needs to stop letting Haymon control his dates. He seems to only want Showtime cards that directly conflict with HBO cards....while PBC rarely conflicts with HBO at all... And Showtime is just not going to win that battle.

Haymon fighters don't have exclusive deals with Showtime like HBO fighters have with theirs. HBO can't have it both ways. HBO want to use Haymon best fighters in his Stable but come over to HBO as the B-side fighter

****** nonsense. They're the market leader, yet they have no marketable stars. They always have to beg fights from HBO superstars like Canelo, GGG, Cotto, etc.

These SHO/PBC people are shameless. They can't even make their top fighters fight each other, ie, Charlos, Lara, Andrade, etc. And these clowns Espinoza and Schaefer say they're the market leaders. Makes me puke.

Funny part is not one of these SHO/PBC fighters are worth watching on PPV. They suck at producing stars.

Showtime like HBO isn't in the business of ratings because subscribers can always watch the fight on Demand or they will just replay the fight.

What Showtime want, and is getting is new subscribers, and keeping the ones that they have. They can care less about the ratings of the live fights. Showtime (CBS) just had a 3.94B quarter. They will do anything to keep that money coming in.

Since when does building a star mean you are putting on the best fights? It's like this past Saturday. Crawford was the biggest name but the best fights were on Showtime.

As a fan, don't you prefer to see the better fights?

Why are you not pointing out that HBO can't make GGG and Canelo fight each other and can't make Manny fight Crawford?

The HBO stars will not fight SHO guys because they are too tough. Why would you celebrate that?

I mean prorated for the number of subscribers, HBO still smokes Sho. HBO's biggest duds outperform Show best, per subscriber

HBO is still the leader despite having few fighters.
