He's got a solid resume in my opinion.

What win on Stiverne's resume shows that he will be a "tremendous test" for Povetkin? Stiverne's only notable wins are against Chris Arreola and other than that he has literally beaten no one else of note and struggled to beat a high level journeyman in his last fight. Now Povetkin has a pretty damn good resume especially when compared to Stiverne. Wach,Takam, Charr,Wawrzyk and Huck are all better fighters than Arreola and all of them will likely beat Stiverne if they ever fought. While he may not knock Stiverne out as he has a jaw made out of granite steel, he'll likely win a pretty wide UD unless Stiverne can land something big and flatten him. Stiverne hasn't looked impressive at all since he beat Arreola

Of course! And will look forward to him taking in Wilder Ortiz Parker or Joshua.

You answered your own question. Stiverne is a tough customer who won't fold and can actually **** a little. The unknown is what Povetkin's stamina will look like without meldonium.

I agree. Solid resume, but nothing that makes him the killer that some posters make him out to be. Top ten heavy....but not elite.
