Comments Thread For: Stiverne: I Plan To End Povetkin Early, Get My Hands on Wilder

Canadian heavyweight Bermane Stiverne (25-2-1, 21KO) is prepared for a tough fight on December 17 in Yekaterinburg, when he collides with Russia's Alexander Povetkin (30-1-0, 22KO).

Really good fight, and a must win for both actually. I think Povetkin decisions him.

I still can't figure where the confidence in Povetkin comes from. People talk like he is some killer. His resume hasn't proven that. To me Stiverne will be a tremendous test that I'm not sure he passes.

Stiverne last looked good about 2 & 1/2 yrs ago. So, unless something changed with him then I don't see him getting past Povetkin let alone Wilder again - but lets see what he can bring - hope he is getting paid well.

The only Povetkin fight that I watched when Klitschko clinched him to Death.

              That was a terrible fight.

Will you give Povetkin credit then if he beats Stiverne?
