Before the fight, half the people here said Chad would be too much. He'd just finished clowning Hopkins. Then, only after the fight, it became "Chad was drained!!"
No matter what Ward does, there's going to be a playpen full of crybabies trying to take it from him.

Solid win. Pretty much ruined Dawson. 7/10 (would be 8 but Chad hasn't done anything since).

True. Yeah in fact I think DLH was still somewhat a betting favorite.

Great win, fight was demanded and highly received..Ward put on a great performance..not his problem if Dawson drained himself as he is the one who called Ward out and said he would fight in at 168 on live HBO

It's also diminished by the fact that dawson turned out to be nothing special at all.

It's not ward's fault...but a clearly diminished opponent is a clearly diminished opponent. Same reason people don't rate dlh as one of pac's best wins.
