I'm talking about the Dawson fight dummy, not Kovalev. It's the same position I had pre fight: if Ward wants full credit, he beats the guy at 175. Cw for partial credit, little credit for 168. How much credit would you give Ggg for beating the winner of Degale Jack at 160?

Oscar won 4 rounds vs Floyd 1.5 years earlier. Remember he was dropping down in weight for that Floyd rematch. But didn't land a punch on Pac and retired for good on his stool. That's some fast aging

Dawson did say 168. At first. Then he said 175. But Ward being Ward pushed him into 168 because he knew full well that he'd have a big advantage with him being drained.

Even Ward said at the end of the fight that Dawson was drained.

I mean, did it not hit you strange that Ward was hurting Dawson with nothing punches? Ward never hurts fighters but was doing it constantly to Dawson.

5, but it's not Wards fault. I've read John scullys interview when he was training Chad. Chad was the one who offered to fight at 168 then showed up grossly out of shape, didn't listen to his trainers and drank like a fish. The worst part I remember:

we got to camp on July 7 and he weighed 182...5 weeks later he hadGAINED TWO POUNDS, weighed 184.

It wasn't Wards fault for Dawson messing up his career, but he's not gonna get an attaboy for that win.
