And how did it come about when Kovalev got Ward in a headlock? Because Ward would bend at the waist and go in for the clinch to try and maul Kovalev. Kovalev then got him in a headlock to not allow Ward to do his usual cheating mauling. He had to defend himself from that because the crooked ref wasn't going to help him.

You'd have to be pretty warped to believe Kovalev was the one doing the cheating considering he always fights clean, but Ward is always pulling that ****. His messed up fans then go and accuse his opponent of being guilty of the clinching and mauling when it's clearly Ward.

Your hero is a cheat and a coward full stop. The guy is a joke. If he had to fight clean he'd be beaten pretty easily. But you tell yourself otherwise you mad nutter.

Lol, he's my hero? Ok, well he beat Kovalev sooooo, that's pretty much that.

If Kovalev needed to use headlocks to stop the smaller fighter, guess he should've rematched Chilemba instead.

Kovalev was straight SCARED of Ward, or any inside fighting because he ****ing SUCKS at it lol!

He didn't beat Kovalev. No matter how many times you say it, it won't become truth. The vast majority of the boxing world had it Kovalev.

Ward was the same size and height as Sergey, so what a ****** thing to say. But then again, what should I expect from Ward fans.

Kovalev was scared of Ward?? Hahahaha Your delusion knows no bounds.

A very good win. At that time Chad Dawson was coming off a big win over Bernard Hopkins and was considered to be the man at light heavyweight. He called out Ward and wanted the fight at 168. Many people thought Chad would be too big and too strong and I believe he was the slight favorite on paper. Ward put on a great performance and dominated. You got to give him some serious credit even though Dawson was most likely weight drained. It was a very good win. I'd give Ward 8.5

Oh blah blah wah wah puzzy boy. Ward won, check the record books. Ward was the smaller fighter moving up, and the superior fighter as well. Can't deal with it? Go kill yourself or get some therapy.

Whether you like it or not Ward did beat Kovalev. You don't have to agree with the decision but the truth is Ward won. It doesn't matter how much you dislike the outcome of the fight Ward is still undefeated and Kovalev has a loss. You can't change that and that's a fact.
