        not suprised. pretty sure i did a thread saying the kovalev fight would probably be wards final fight and i got ripped to shreds for saying it, as per usual lol.

            He can't go out like that. He has to go out with a clean victory over kovalev for his legacy to stand.

            If he retires after a razor thin decision without giving the former champion a rematch. He will never get the props he deserves.

            It makes no sense to retire before giving kovalev a rematch. Ward made a career high payday and headlined his first ppv. He has finally arrived on the biggest stage. The rematch is exactly what ward needs for his bank account and his legacy.

            I like ward, but I won't look at him the same without ward vs Kovalev 2. It doesn't matter if he wins or loses. What matters is that we find out who is the better man once and for all. Because I don't think we found out November 18th. No matter who you had winning. Neither guy won clean.

            Rematch is a must

                  This is disappointing. I respect how he feels, he has earned everything he has accomplished, but it honestly feels like he just isn't confident enough in his ability to repeat the win.
