He's like a poster announcing he's leaving the forum for good so people will beg him to stick around.

Mainly he wants to avoid a rematch with Kovalev. This is why he recently said he would create a very difficult negotiation process for the rematch.

He wants to believe it was a legit victory. His friends, family and fanboys all say it was. But nobody else does.

He is a consistently passive-aggressive moaner and complainer who never tells the truth, and who uses his religion solely to inflate his ego and get attention. He cheats in the ring.

Let him retire. He'll be remembered for avoiding the rematch.

Who's gonna buy that logic? I saw Floyd Mayweather lose versus Castillo, but Floyd decided he was going to delude that memory from me and anyone else that felt like me. And then he continued to build this invincible persona that attracted attention. If Ward is trying to be like Floyd, he's got it all backwards, most people already believe they saw him lose. It's the worst time for him to retire, or pretend to want to.

Ward was already treated as the A-side in the first fight (despite his drawing power being roughly the same as Kovalev's). What more does he actually want?

          Lol i don't get why he's a coward?

He fought a guy many thought he wouldn't have fought, wasn't KOd and actually won, officially anyway.
It's up to himself to decide when it's time to hang em up, not some fat loser on the internet.

I thought Ward won, but if he retires rather than fighting Kovalev again, biggest sick move ever. It's not like he's taken so much damage, and is an old and used up fighter. He just had a 2 yeat break for goodness sake. Would be dissapointing as hell if he decided to actually retire.

I've never cared for when someone decides to retire from this brutal sport, won't start now or ever for that matter.

That's a colorful way to put it. I agree.

                  Just rematch Kovalev, Andre.

Save all the dramatic gestures and talk for your fans.
