    hatton - king at 140
    - not king at 147
hes clearly way too small at 147 i love hatton but to be hoenst margarito would kill him
i would love to see ricky duke it out with gatti in a nice blood bath n then fight the likes of cotto and corrales or castillo and then beat mayweather to end his career

I agree. Hatton can hang at 147 if he picks the small ones, like Floyd's doing.

But if you look at Collazo's record, you'll see he's always been a welter or a jr middleweight his entire career. And he's fought half his fights ABOVE the 147 limit, either a 154 or a catchweight.

So add to that the fact that he's a slick southpaw and I think Hatton's team chose the wrong fighter to debut against. But hey, if Hatton can cut his teeth on Collazo, and pass the test, then he's not completely out of his league at 147, but 140 is absolutely the right weight for him, and I think he should fight there until Floyd gets done playing the Oscar Lottery.

This shows you the difference between him & Floyd. Floyd has no business being at 147 either but you see who can handle himself better

compare mayweather's mapped route to 147 in choosing a natural 140 lber in sharmba who was coming off of losses and hatton's mapped route in choosing a natural 147 lber who has fought at 154 and was a world champion.

People always miss the point about Mitchell. People always say that Floyd hand picked Mitchell for a easy fight. That has nothing to do with it. Floyd picked Mitchell because he thought he was the perfect tuneup for the then champ Judah. He wouldnt have even fought Mitchell if he wasnt aiming for the Judah fight. He knows that Mitchell and Zab have similar styles and are both lefty's

the point is he fought a naturally smaller, aging career 140 lber coming off of 2 career KO losses and in a NON-TITLE bout.

I think he should be at 140, but he has guts and wants to fight the best, so all respect to him. I still think DLH(maybe), Margarito, and Mayweather can beat him though.

so do you think Callazo wouldve gave him trouble? Hatton fans are too funny to try to build up Callazo like he is a A level fighter. Floyd would make that guy look so ****** and all of you know it. Besides, all those Tomato cans that Hatton has fought? He hasnt fought anyone good yet except a ageing Tszyu

i think it has to more to do with styles. If u get hit over and over its gonna take its toll. Hatton had some trouble with Collozo the same way PBF had trouble with Chop Chop that does not mean they are on the same level. Hatton will look better against righties thats a guarantee. Peace out.

Give it a break already, some people thought Ricky lost (I think he won) but you keep harping on this official scoring ****.

Roy Jones "officially" lost in the Olympics too, right?
