Amen to that!!!
HBO went overboard in hyping their future cashcow.Comment

I really have to see him fight again at Welter.
You have to give the guy time to grow into the division.
But for a first fight, especially with a durable guy like Collazo, Ricky did pretty well.
However, if Luis didn't give away a couple of the later rounds he would've pulled it out.Comment

Now I know why Hatton's corner dosen't want to fight Cotto at 147, he would be too strong for Hatton.Comment

We learned that Hatton isn't strong at 147, his frame is fit for 140.
I still say, if Kostya came back, he will win in the States against Hatton...Kostya is much naturally a bigger frame and stronger person than Ricky, and inactivity, age, and his refusal to move up in weight years ago has hurt him...he has probably became injury prone because of the shock to his system with the weight loss.
Kostya was also outboxing Ricky, hurt him with the left hook, in those mid to late rounds, even though he was tired.Comment

Especially with how high Cotto jumps up in weight on fight night.
I think Hatton beats Cotto at 140 but alot is to be proven from BOTH fighters at 147.
PBF on the other hand is alot further apart from the two at Welter. I think Mayweather would have KO'd the Hatton that fought tonite BUT once again, I think Hatton will be more impressive in his next outing.Comment

Actually, I think that HBO was strangely fair in this one. They were tooting Collazo's horn pretty hard, too. They gave him a lot of credit for standing in and giving Hatton trouble, as well as forcing hatton out of his game in many rounds.Comment
