you guys who are saying that Brook is a middleweight..... LMAO
you aren't the same silly ****s who said that exact same dumb shht about Canelo, because it suited Golovkin..... are you?
surely not ? LMAO
because you clowns got exposed as casual-fans for that exact same dumb shht about TWO MONTHS AGO..... LOL
surely not ?
put it this way, being a post-history searching expert.....
..... IF Brook lands the Khan fight next - or any welter for that matter - and he makes 147..... will I be able to post PROOF that you went full-****** by calling Canelo a middleweight, only to immediately be proven wrong..... and also be able to post PROOF that you went full-****** again - within the space of a few months - by doing THE EXACT SAME THING?
Isaac Clarke...as a boxing fan, I don't see any lies that kafkod said that you refer to as lies. That 1st supposed lie that you say kafkod made was that GGG was awarded the WBA regular title. Sure, GGG didn't fight for the world title. But Sturm didn't want to fight for that title either. GGG was awarded the title the way a candidate wins an office unopposed. Under the WBA's own rules, the WBA regular title that GGG won was a legit world title. It's not GGG's fault that the WBA made 2 titles. Not his fault. Therefore, GGG was a champion. kafkod's argument is both valid and true.
The 2nd supposed lie that you believe is a lie is actually conjecture. No one knows the exact truth but Ward and his camp. But the fact remains that the last time Ward fought at 168 was 2 years prior to the Smith fight. 2 years. And then the Smith fight was done at 172. With evidence like that, any logical person would have to lean toward the statement that "Ward doesn't fight at 168 anymore." For sure he can't fight at 168 now. But we have no real evidence to say that Ward could have fought at 168 back when they negotiated for a GGG fight. No one knows for sure because the guy was neither active or fighting at 168. You're stretching it to make it a lie in order to throw hate kafkod's way? I don't understand your motivation. Who cares anymore about a failed negotiation? Because if you want to put blame on GGG's camp, half of the blame goes to Ward's camp. No two ways around it. Both sides failed. Move on.
As boxing fans, we should always be looking to bolster the sport. Sport must always come before boxer. The fact that anyone spends so much time trying to nitpick what someone writes rather than nitpicking the actions of boxers we want to see fight is just plain sop****ric. It serves no point other than to bolster your own pride. Talk about the boxing. Isaac, if you want to argue against the negotiating ability of Loeffler and K2, show us evidence. It wasn't that long ago that Loeffler got a fight deal against a Haymon fighter who was GGG's mandatory. Dominic Wade anyone? The only difference for this round of negotiations is the fighter. Maybe you should examine what Danny Jacobs is doing that is making this negotiation so hard, huh? Mental gymnastics aside, it doesn't matter anymore. The purse bid has been ordered. Jacobs either takes the fight, or vacates. 25% is all he's getting.
You don't see the lies? More like you choose not to see.
He said Golovkin won the title and was downgraded to regular champ. = Lies
He said Ward and Virgil said he couldn't make 168 at the time they offered Golovkin a fight. = Lies
He said Golovkin said he would fight Ward in 2017. = Lies
He lied, it's clear for everyone to see. He lied in this thread and when called out for it lied again. The guy is a compulsive liar.
There's many more times too.
1) I never said that GGG won a title and was downgraded to regular champion
I posted the facts, as far as I knew them. Here they are again: Felix Sturm was the WBA champion and GGG was the interim champ, which meant he had the right to fight for the actual WBA title. There had been no WBA super title at MW for 4 years at that point.
When GGG demanded his mandatory shot at Sturm, the WBA responded by promoting Sturm to super champion, downgrading the title he'd held to "regular" and awarding it to Golovkin. It later came out that the WBA had been promised a 6 figure "donation" by Sturm's promoters for doing that, but whether they actually got the money couldn't be proved.
2) Ward sent GGG an offer in Sept 2015, for a fight at 168, in 2016. And earlier this year - 2016 - Ward admitted that he could no longer make 168.
3) When Loeffler got that offer from Ward his response was that GGG would be focused on 160 during 2016, so if Ward wanted to fight him at 168 he should get back to them in 2017.
Yes, it is better to beat a boxer under professional rules. Always. Amateur rules is just that. Amateur. Ndam losing in the Olympics means nothing except that he's not that great of a boxer. But that doesn't mean he can't win in a boxing match under professional rules. A win in a pro boxing fight will always be better. Case closed.
GTFOH
Ndam has been dropped 10 times by lemieux and even more by Quillin. Stevens dropped him and then he lost to some guy in the olympics when they're making their rules more like the pro ranks
Only GGG ball lickers would try to turn Ndam into some killer when the fact of the matter is the guy can't and won't even beat Blanco

surely not LAWL
careful now, or I will make myself unpopular
Look, being a MW or a WW is not like being an American, or a Brit, or a dumb Kiwi fan boy. Whether a fighter is a WW or a MW, or whatever, depends entirely upon what weight they weigh in at for a boxing match. So it can change, from fight to fight.

He was a killer after Quillin beat him doe.
Beating Ndam makes Quillin tougher than anybody GGG ever fought, so the story goes.
GGG never defended his WBA interim title, dickhead. He won the real WBA title in his next fight, but the corrupt WBA downgraded it to "regular" and promoted Sturm to super champ to protect him from GGG. Golovkin's title defence run is as legit as BHop's was.
