Was Crawford at fault for not getting the Pac fight?

"140 or duck" That's what he said. Manny on numerous interviews said that he is going to fight Crawford, and was already negotiating with Arum on the date, but then the "140 or duck" comes in after he fought a luckluster fight of Postol. Then Pacquiao replied by "Naaa I'll take Vargas, get that 140 or duck to somewhere else." Because he wanted the fight at 147.

    So whose at fault here?

at the end of the day it is Arum who is making the fights. In Pacquiao own words depends on my promoter Bob Arum.

He is going to give Pacquiao a good fight. He just outboxed Postol, and even dropped him 3 times. arum is marinating this fight like the Mayweather fight.

Yes, he was. Should have accepted Pac fight at any weight.

I hope arum make this fight happen next year. I don't want to see another Vargas-Pacquiao II, and Bradley-Pacquiao IV.

Arum basically own the WBO belt. Crawford needs to accept this fight win or loss his value would sky rocket.

This thread is absolutely pathetic. I know you are a huge Manny fan and don't want to blame him but lets not act like what Crawford said had any bearing on Manny and him not fighting.

Crawford does not occupy a position where he can make demands to Manny.

Crawford would never refuse an offer to fight Manny at 147. There is just too much money.

Most likely Bob is keeping Crawford away from Manny because Crawford is a taller boxer whose attributes and skills would be difficult for Manny. Maybe after the Floyd rematch or when Manny is really at the end the fight might get made.

Manny has openly discussed going to 140 in articles posted on this site. Crawford would never refuse an offer to fight Manny at 147. There is just too much money for that.

They are planning a Mayweather rematch. And Crawford is a live dog. Sometimes I wish Arum let Pacquiao fight the best fighters in his division. Vargas and Algieiri are a waste of Manny's time.

Those 2 guys are cannon fodders for up and coming boxers.

Why the **** would Arum protect Manny if Manny is already at the end of his career? If Arum is truly the snake that he is, he would feed manny to Crawford.

And also, Manny never said he would go down to 140, he only said that he can make 140 or even at 135, but is unsure how is performance would go, so he stayed at 147 for that reason. It was roach mouthing his ass off in the interviews saying B.S

If so, if Crawford wants the fight why did he said 140 or duck? Manny also said that he didn't accept the fight because Crawford refused to budge from 140, that was his sole reason for picking Vargas.

I can't say they are planning it for sure but I know if he loses to Crawford or looks bad in a win then the rematch is dead.
