This shit is just a storm in a teacup blown up by Eddie Hearn.

He and Loeffler were having a few drinks and larking around when the last "offer" to make this fight happened.

And to everybody saying Froch retired to duck GGG ... Carl was 38 years old when he called it a day, after a long, hard career and some of the toughest fights seen during the last decade.

GGG was a legit option for Froch, as was DeGale. Froch didn't want any part of those two and instead swerved GGG and Degale trying to chase after a fight with Chavez Junior. I believe Chavez had already lost to an over the hill Martinez by that period. It is a legit duck despite Froch crying otherwise. He had a chance to fight Calzaghe, DeGale and GGG and ducked them all.

I was no Froch fan but he's not a ducker. Look at the list of fighters he's faced, he's had several tear ups with world class opponents only losing 2 fights and gaining revenge in 1 of those fights. He just fell out of love with the training in my opinion, he made his money had his family and earned his respect. I believe he would of beaten anyone in 168 except Ward. As I said I was no fan but I knew when he in the ring I was watching a true fighter.

Carl, It's The Cobra! Froch is a ****ing warrior man!
Loves a good rumble, decent jab, very strong, iron Kevlar chin, toughness and heart to the max, and punching power!

Prime Froch would've put a real hurting on Golovkin late in the fight once he's warmed up! That jab of his won't work cuz of the reach and Froch would throw combos and strong jabs when he steps out!

Triple B needs to.worry bout his trainer Motor Mouth Sanchez opening his crap trap again!

Froch is a Warrior, and he fought the best boxers in his division. He only lost once in his career. I felt he was robbed in the first Kessler fight.

He was offered a contract by Warren to fight Calzaghe:

                    http://www.boxingscene.com/frank-warren-calzaghe-greater-ve-beaten-froch--66131

DeGale chased after him and Froch made various excuses not to fight him.

We all know what Froch said about GGG when Froch was still active. The Bravado only came when Froch was retired.
