and I have never heard anybody suggest that Froch ducked Calzaghe, most say the opposite..... but the truth is, that situation is very similar to Golovkin/Froch

FACT: Froch was a superstar, Golovkin was not

I believe the legend, over the guy who has never made a truly meaningful fight EVER!

and whats with that 166lb bullshht ?

the guy who made that demand had NO intention of fighting Carl Froch LMAO
See what Frank Warren says about Froch when he was offered a contract to fight Calzaghe, he just kept asking when Calzaghe was going to move up because he didn't want to get in the ring with him. I tend to believe Warren here, after all he wasn't exactly buddies with Calzaghe (Pretty sure Calzaghe sued him).

I don't believe that for 1 second, I remember it well

Froch was screaming for Calzaghe, he wouldn't shut up

the problem was, at that stage Froch was a domestic nobody, and Calzaghe was looking to cash out with Hopkins/Jones

I don't care what you believe tbh. I'm talking prior to the Hopkins/Jones fights (I think it was just after the Lacey fight). Froch was offered a contract which he turned down. Froch only started screaming for Calzaghe when Cazlaghe was looking at his last few big fights before retirement.

I'm not even a Calzaghe fan but he would have schooled Froch and Froch knows it himself.

you have pegged me wrong friend

Calzaghe did not duck Froch, and I never insinuated that he did

I said " most say the opposite "..... referring to the rubbish that anti-Calzaghe people talk

they were at opposite ends of their career

I have no doubt that BOTH of those guys would have fought had the timing been right..... the legend Froch, was not a legend at that point in time..... and yep, I would have bet on the Welshman as well
