Honestly worried about Bhop this time around. I felt Kovalev held back against him. But Hops is definitely ATG. One of the best ever.

He has done serious damage to pro boxing with his horribly self righteous, narcissistic personality and shady business moves that allowed him to dodge what would've been the toughest fights of his career in order to protect his 0 and cement his bloated paydays with dull and sedated performances.
Secondly, Floyd made a career out of utilizing the corruption of boxing and it's lack of enforcement by having control of the parameters of his biggest fights. No participant in an pro sport should be able to manipulate the rules and regulations of such a sport to cater to their own personal preference, thereby creating a handicap and terms that work in their favor.
Of course, other fighters have taken advantage of the problems inherent in pro boxing but never to the extent that Mayweather did.
Why do you think this fight is egotistical on Bernard's behalf? I don't even understand what that means. Are you saying Bernard's ego is obscuring the fact that he could be seriously hurt in this fight or do you think he has no chance of winning? As much as Joe Smith Jr is young and has power, what makes him more of a threat than Kovalev was? I would understand your comments if it referred to someone like Roy Jones since he has been knocked out multiple times and is nowhere near able to compete on a high level anymore. For a 50+ year old man, Hopkins conducted himself incredibly well against Kovalev (ie: did not get knocked out). Bernard is old but he has taken very little damage for someone with such a long career and has never been knocked out.
If Hopkins wins or even goes the distance without taking any serious damage will you still say his decision to fight was egotistical?
You lost me when you said Mayweather has done nothing positive for the sport! Goodbye!

Joe Smith is gonna lose no doubt, but I gotta give him props on beating Fonfara I didn't see that coming. I'm glad he's about to get paid and besides its no shame in losing to a hall of fame. I just hope the fight isn't boring.
