Exactly what i think. Lara might not be high reward in terms of money, but a W over him would shut up many haters. Instead of fighting a Wade or a Rubio or even Brook, it would be better for him to put Lara to sleep and move on, besides, Lara got robber against Canelo, and having an oponent in common with Canelo would be good.

Lara vs. Cotto. Cotto is still a huge name.

Simply offer Lara what you're willing to pay Jacobs, and let's see what happens!
What they're willing to pay Jacobs evidently requires ppv. I don't think a GGG/Lara ppv would be a wise investment. Lara was subsidized a million dollars to fight Delvin Rodriguez and now according to his manager(per the TBV interview) he's worth way more than that to fight Golovkin. That's a deal kill all in itself. Brook on the other hand brought millions to the table with the UK market supporting him.

Lara fights infrequently, often against very poor opposition, is content on not pleasing the crowd, and demands a high salary. Those are the traits of a fighter looking for a handout.

Lara already offered Cotto a fight, Cotto had no interest.

I'd rather see Cotto/Lara in February than the horrible- Cotto/Kirkland ppv in Cowboy Stadium.

Cotto/Lara would be better for boxing. An interesting match. But Lara is just boring wich is why it wont happen.
Kirkland just goes and throws everything making it more exciting and he is there to be KO´d so i think that´s the fight that will go down.

Kirkland is Done. I thought he's going to be the next Mike Tyson, but he became a modern day Jeff Lacy.

Kirkland has turned into the old version of Ricardo Mayorga, just shows up when a big star pays him to be KO'd. I don't even considered him a real player at 154 anymore, just a part-time boxer with a name.

Lara could've fought Soro instead of Foreman for a real fight. Soro's rated in the top 5 at 154 for Lara's title.

Yup. That's why Cotto wanted to fight either him or WW - Lamont Peterson or JMM.

Yeah, Cotto is going to avoid boxers who has movements and can box. Kirkland is so flat footed.

The bolded is exactly what turned me off of Lara...I used to be a fan of his...until he turned in a snoozer vs Delvin
