He would have a solid case for being #1, especially when you consider he's already got a solid resume.

Also I think we would see a whole bunch of guys would move up from 154 and chase him for a payday, if he were to beat Golovkin.

Interesting thought, if he does beat Golovkin, where does he go from there?? 160 is a joke and he's too short for 168. He'd have to wait on guys like Andrade to come up to 160 to have any decent competition.
      Yea, this right here.

Although him being #2 over Gonzalez is debatable. I don't he beats Ward P4P.

He has to step in the ring with him first.

those guys would move immediately for canelo, on the contrary with GGG canelo won't have problems getting opponents

            garcia beats thurman
            pacquiao beats lomachenko

Has to be Ward if he defeats Kov more convincing which is possible and then I'd have Gonzalez, Kov(even if he loses), Pacquiao, Canelo, and Garcia rounding out if they all win!

Most impressive win for me would be between Ward against Kov(in dominating fashion) and Canelo vs Golovkin(just wins but no shiesty judges) considering so many guys didn't want to fight him unless it's for money that will cover all possible medical bills!

No. It would prove what people have been saying all along. GGG hasn't fought anyone to be in the top 10 and a loss to Canelo would prove he didn't deserve to be there
