Its not even something you can directly compare cuz while Conor does have room to grow MMA lifespans are shorter & different than boxing lifespans. In boxing once you're famous your famous to some extent. Meanwhile Anthony Pettis who made it onto the Wheaties box one year is mostly doing co-main events the next year. MMA is unforgiving & the caliber of opposition you fight is higher & riskier.
Why don't you answer the question instead of making excuses like a sensitive weak ass f1omo?

          Definitely.

But will McGregor reach the heights Floyd did in his 30's?

          Doubt it.

He will never be a super star like boxer, once he loses to a Khabib he will lose a his hype.

Yes. Floyd wasn't a "bad guy" when he was 28.

... except that he doesn't have a ways to go

Even under the rosiest of projections (the UFC doesn't release the actual numbers on anything they don't have to), McGregor's current take on his fights is on the short side of an 80-20 split with the UFC.

Floyd, at the age of 28, just made over $3m to fight Arturo Gatti (and the fighters seemingly walking away with the lion's share of a 70-30 split on the fight), with Floyd basically looking at north or 80-20 splits on fights for the rest of his career.

McGregor likely gets no bigger than he is right now (unless the UFC actually decides to give him a stake in his fights)

in terms of popularity maybe but that's it, no MMA fighter will ever surpass floyd,
