    not many defensive whizzes above 160. Usyk, ward both pretty good defensively, tyson fury looks a bit clumsy at times but hes pretty hard to tag clean too.

      I came in to say Usyk and Ward as well. Unless we're still counting Hopkins. Kovalev isn't bad but I think the quality of his defense is directly related to the power of his offense (intimidation).

      Degale would count if it weren't for the fact that he has defensive lapses in every fight.

            Usyk is the best defensive fighter in the heavy classes.
            Golovkin and Canelo can put some nice head movement, but like JC Chavez they are on either defensive or offensive mode, but not both.
            Hopkins of course but he on his way out.
            DeGale is really defensively as well as Saunders, but both are inconsistent af.
            In the amateurs you can find plenty of great defensive fighters: La Cruz is untouchable, Melekuziev is a fighter with great reflexes, Alimkhanuly already turned pro and he is a great defensive boxer (a great boxer overall).
